Since before the holidays, NS 191 has been running unpredictably, departing at various hours day or night. On this chilly January night, the NS 191 night train carried a solid mix of ex-SOU equipment plus long cuts of track maintenance gear.
This train is known for its varied schedule, often departing unexpectedly, which makes it a favorite for railfans chasing NS 191 night train sightings.
Led by two powerful C6M locomotives, the train included interesting fallen flags on the MOW cuts — CR tie gons tracing back to PC, PRR, NYC, and E-L heritage. The mix of equipment offers a glimpse into the region’s rich railroading history.
Enjoy this unique railfan footage, and thank you so much for watching!
