Ok, you're not going to believe what happened, so I guess you'll just have to watch. There I was, standing on Catawba Street just after midnight, as the NS 191, with the Pennsy Heritage Unit leading, was finally getting ready to cross Assembly Street. Then she started slowing down, and a loud banging noise could be heard. Then, as if on cue, she gracefully stopped while still straddling Catawba Street. If I didn't know, better, I'd almost say she was posing for my camera. But no. The engineer or conductor climbed down out of the cab, adressed the problem (which apparently was a dragging brake hose which was banging on the locomotive's pilot), fixed it, and they were quickly on their way to Macon. I hope that you enjoy. Thanks for watching!
